About

Welcome to Neural Ignition, an electronic indie music producer from the midlands who grew up witnessing the dawn of electronic music in the early 1980s and the emergence of Chicago House, Acid House and Detroit Techno. Inspired by artists like New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Saint Etienne, The Shamen, and dance artists like Todd Terry, Tyree, Inner City and S’Express,. Unable to read music or play an instrument, Dave set off on a journey of musical discovery, buying his first synth in 1990. Over 30 years later, after a career in IT and raising a family, he finally made a decent tune. The result is energetic yet mellow, retro yet modern, melodic and catchy electronic music you are compelled to keep on repeat.

Recently introduced to the EMOM (Electronic Music Open Mic) scene in the UK by lifelong friend and psychadelic hip-hop artist Harri Bionic, Neural Ignition can be seen regularly at events is grateful to be part of such a supportive community.
